Every fall rolls around and I’m always searching for a website that lists the local fall festivals in the surrounding areas, Arcola broom corn, Atwood apple dumpling festival, clintin pork and apple festival just to name a few. Perhaps this is just the place, how about making a list for us so we can plan our weekends around the fall fests? Would be very much appreciated.

Thanks for stopping by. I like fall festivals too, but I think you’d be better off checking out the newspaper websites (Herald and Review, Pantagraph, News-Gazette) for information like that. I’m just a gal who does this for fun, I don’t really have time to do what you suggest, but I appreciate the feedback.

I enjoyed your blog site about east central illinois (particuliarly Champaigns best – all unique and great experinces) -sorry to say I am one of the builders that participated in the showcase of homes in the far out subdivision in Savoy (my development – just down the road from the University) – It was inspiring and refreshing to here candid comments about the home designs – I will certainly take them into consideration when designing future home plans.
