This weekend marks the annual Mutt Strutt, a fundraiser benefiting the Champaign County Humane Society. If you or your dog likes to walk, this event is for you. Head over to Centennial Park on Saturday morning or register online. There will be a blessing of the dogs before the walk starts at 9 a.m. After the walk there will be activities for canines and their companions alike.
If you like to rock more than you like to walk — and so does your dog — than Woofstock in Decatur might be the thing for you on Saturday. This all-day festival features music, an arts and crafts fair, kids activities (kids under 12 get in free, adults are $5), a dog parade and more. Sounds like a howlin’ good time. Proceeds benefit the Homeward Bound Shelter, a no-kill facility in Macon County. (thanks for the tip Rayne!)

Finally found a schedule! I’m definitely going to listen to both Floweezy and 56 Hope Rd. 56 Hope Rd is so incredible!
