I know all of you are just dying to know what we ended up doing for Peanut’s birthday party. Well, after all that whining and moaning about not wanting to have the party in our house, we ended up doing just that. One of the big reasons was my discovery of Teresa Brennan, a local music teacher who dazzled us when we attended a free lesson at Pages for all Ages one Saturday afternoon. (Pages does the free music class the second Saturday of every month). We were so impressed with how well she handled so many kids of different ages. It was a wonderful program and Peanut loved every minute.
I’m not shy (I know that shocks all of you) so I went up to Ms. Teresa and asked her if she did birthday parties. Voila, a party was born. We centered the party around a music theme and gave out mix CDs of Peanut’s favorite music as the favors. It was a blast. My brother, who never lacks for an opinion, enjoyed the program so much that he wants Ms. Teresa to drive up to Chicago and perform her magic at his son’s next birthday. That was the ultimate nod of approval.
So now I have a favor to give all of you. Ms. Teresa is starting classes this spring as she launches her new venture, Wee Love Music. And she wants to offer all lbotp readers a free introductory class. Here’s the 411:
We will also learn some American Sign Language!
so they can learn how to do this fun stuff at home with you too!

I can’t say enough how great her classes are! We’ve been going to her class since last September. And, we’re having her come to our little guys birthday party to. Definitely, Chambanaites should give it a try if they’ve gotta little tyke.

My daughter goes to school with Teresa’s son and she is the kind of person who always has a smile on her face and is ready to help. I love that.

Hi! It’s Ms. Teresa here. I just want to thank everyone for their kind words. I LOOOVE singing with you and your children!
If you missed me at Pages for All Ages this past Saturday, it’s because I wasn’t supposed to be there! The 2nd Saturday music time at Pages is in affiliation with The Conservatory of Central Illinois, and I am no longer affiliated with them.
If you’re interested in learning more about “Wee Love Music!” email me at weelovemusic@gmail.com.
Thank you and keep on singing!
