The other day I got an email that had me more freaked out than the time I saw Cape Fear. It was from Donna Pepper, the woman behind One Week Boutique, saying that she does not have a definitive date or location for the spring sale this year.
Heart attack in an email, my friends. I have become so dependent on OWB as an inexpensive, one-stop way to build my daughter a wardrobe each season, especially when it comes to play clothes that I don’t mind how dirty or stained or worn they get. I also hope to someday become an OWB consignor so I can get some of that money back.
All is not lost, as I’m sure Donna will come through. She mentioned she is still waiting on a few leads. For poor Peanut’s sake, and all little OWB children across C-U, let’s hope something works out. The alternative might get me arrested.

We have purchased so many things through OWB. I can’t imagine how much we would have spent paying retail.
I have been able to consign the last two sales. I was just about to start organizing for the spring sale. I received a pretty large check last fall. Enough to cover what we spent plus a little more.
Much better than having a garage sale!

Cooperative Nursery School will have a big Spring sale in April. There will be lots of kids’ clothes, toys, books, etc.
A sorry replacement for OWB, I know, but there should be some good stuff.

I just found out from someone close to the source. Donna is in the process of signing a rental agreement for a space and it will be towards the end of April. But not at Best Buy. She’s not announcing until it’s a done deal.

I thought I read that there was a children’s consignment store in the shopping center near Famous Dave’s…..anyone know anything about that?

The consignment store I know of is further north on Mattis, where County Market is.
