The nation’s highest-rated fast food chicken operator just might be nesting in our neck of the woods soon. A company that is licensed to operate Chick-Fil-A is advertising all over the place for a manger for a “new store at the University of Illinois.” This makes sense, since there are mini Chick-Fil-A’s in food courts at both Eastern Illinois University (at the union) and Illinois State University (in a University dining facility). Supposedly, there is also a Chick-Fil-A at the State Farm employee cafeteria in Bloomington.
I’m not a big fast food eater but Chick-Fil-A gets my business, even if the owners are a little wacko and according to this blog will not put a store in Chicago because it is full of heathens (I guess he doesn’t know Urbana very well.) I don’t get to the Illini Union food court much anymore, but if that is their destination, it will be an immediate 1000 percent upgrade.

It is true that there is a Chick-fila at the SF cafeteria, I have just eaten there a couple times a week for three weeks.

I’ve eaten at the mini-CF at EIU. Not impressed at all. Maybe the full store will be better.

Chick-fil-A’s chicken sucks. Their soft serve ice cream is pretty darn good though.

Having just moved from NC and eaten and CFA on a few occasions I can join the group that says it is not very good food.
