Feast or famine — that pretty much describes a weekend in C-U. This is one of those feast weekends around the area, with so many fun things to do I don’t even want to try to try to list all of them, but here’s a few:
Bagelfest: Leeanthro says we should go, even if we are bagel snobs.
Champaign County Fair: You know, secretly deep down, you love it too.
The Concert at the UI Research Park: Sounds like a wonderful adult evening. Lisa gave the last one a favorable review.
Harry Potter Release Parties: Don’t forget the one at Urbana Free Library.
Arthur’s Third Saturday Craft Market: A good excuse to get out of the city and head to Amish country.
Curtis Orchard opens for the season: Cider slushies and cider donuts for everyone. Give blood this weekend, and you’ll get cider and a donut for free.
Downtown Streetfest: Another reason to enjoy a few cold ones in downtown Champaign.
The Little Engine that Could at the Monticello Railway Museum: We did this a few years ago with our niece and nephew. I think I can, I think I can, I think I can. ….
Have a great weekend everybody, whatever you do.

Mmm, apple doughnuts . . . dreamy. Nice to know about all of these goings-on. And thanks for the linkage!

Out of all the CU things that I miss, I miss Curtis Orchard the most. Now I’m really home sick.

I love a good demolition derby. Too bad I missed it this summer.
