“A 54-year-old woman was issued a notice to appear in court after allegedly stealing a bicycle belonging to a 7-year-old boy at the 900 block of West Maple Street, Sunday.”
Did she take his ice cream too?

Everyone can get FREE ice cream (and strawberries, too) at the totally awesome Strawberry Jam in Meadowbrook Park on Saturday, June 16 at 4pm.

I think my favorite police blotter blurb was from the N-G when they reported that someone’s mobile home was broken into and the thieves stole ice cream sandwiches and a giant teddy bear.

Rats, I forgot to check if I made it into the blotter. I got a jaywalking ticket a few weeks ago. No ice cream involved, though.

Incredibly hard to find info about the Strawberry Jam at Meadowbrook (UPD’s website sucks!). Hope to make it there. Any parking suggestions?

I was ticketed for crossing against the lights at 6th and John. The amusing part was watching the cop who wrote the ticket walk diagonally across the center of the intersection to stop us and write us up for jaywalking. This was the morning of the VT tragedy. Glad to know our campus boys were on their toes.
