- If Lincoln Square “Village” wants to attract more business, perhaps it should consider making their building more accessible by adding some automated doors. This would certainly aid the disabled, and also stroller-toting mothers who need to get some GuS at Art Mart.
- To all you Wendy’s lovers: head to Bloomington. A local group purchased the stores from their bankrupt owner; there’s talk in this article that it might also pursue opening Wendy’s around here. There was also an article a way back in the N-G that said that the North Prospect Wendy’s would be opening in 90 days … that was on Jan. 26.
- Speaking of B-N: Want to get to Vegas, quick? AirTran, the discount airline that operates out of B-N’s Central Illinois Regional Airport, will begin offering four nonstop flights per week to Sin City starting Aug. 15.

That’s a really good suggestion about Lincoln Square. Perhaps you could call or write a letter to the owner? Last time I checked, Lincoln Square was owned by Webster & Associates on University Ave. However, the fact that they haven’t fixed any of the leaks in the ceiling may indicate that they aren’t too interested in spending their own money to update anything else, either.

I always struggle getting in and out of Lincoln Sqaure’s doors too. I don’t know why more places aren’t handcapped/child friendly.
But one thing I do like is the expecting mom/new parent parking spot. They should have more than one though. More businesses need to have that (Schnuck’s does too). At least close, wide spots so that its easy to get kids in and out of seats without knocking others doors.

Hmmmm ….
Don’t you think Lincoln Square could just add some ‘Door Staff’? I might even know someone who could arrange it ………

Kind of off-topis, but I tried GuS out after reading about it on here. It freaking rocks!
Thanks for the heads-up.

Moon, glad you liked it. I just tried the dry pomegranate, and it’s my new favorite flavor.
