True confessions Thursday

  • I once owned a sweatshirt with a big picture of a certain local university’s mascot on it. I was 8, and it was a gift from my then-best friend. It was orange and really ugly, and I hardly ever wore it.
  • The potholes on Windsor Road are driving me insane.
  • I am a bad mother. Peanut fell off the changing table today on my watch.

My son fell off a bench at Allerton and landed on his head when he was 8 months. It happens to everyone, don’t worry!

So long as they cry, they’re ok!

The nephew fell down the stairs on my watch. No matter how hard you try, you can’t *always* be there to catch them when the fall. Peanut will be okay.

Prospect between Windsor and Curtis is my pet peeve….

    No worries Bloggerette.

My 2 year old son fell down 5 or 6 stairs at the inlaws. He was fine, probably just overwhelmed by the Decatur corn processing fumes. This is why kids have cartilage in places where you and I have bones…

By the way, I grew up with that mascot and I can’t believe it survived this long…
