The Best Thai Food in C-U

Need a place to eat after a busy day of North Prospect shopping? Head to Thara Thai on Bloomington Road, right next to Real Hacienda. Thara Thai is without question the BEST Thai food in Champaign-Urbana. It has managed to survive so far in an awful location, that must tell you something! May I recommend the spring rolls, Panang curry, tom yum soup and of course the pad thai. The service is friendly and fast - a mom and pop atmosphere at mom and pop prices. C-U has been lacking a quality Thai restaurant for years. It’s nice to see the recent addition of Siam Terrace in Urbana to the Thai food community, but it doesn’t hold a chopstick to Thara Thai in Champaign. Do yourself a favor and try it today!
